In partnership with The Bridgehampton Museum, the Sag Harbor Whaling Museum will be co- hosting a plein air painting class at the Whaling Museum’s grounds taught by Terry Elkins on August 29. Artists of all abilities, from beginners to professionals, are encouraged to participate. This class is part of a series of classes taking place at scenic East End locations throughout the summer of 2026.

At the culmination of this program, The Bridgehampton Museum will be hosting an exhibition of works created by class participants. Each student will be able to submit one piece they worked on during one of the classes to be part of the exhibition which will be on view at the museum this fall.
