Revolutionary Tea Party

Puddings and Biscakes brings a refined, historically inspired tea experience to the Whaling Museum, offering a thoughtful nod to the 250th anniversary of the US Declaration of Independence while inviting guests to explore the traditions of late 18th-century baking. Inspired by Amelia Simmons’ American Cookery (1796) and other period sources, the program highlights the influences, ingredients, and approaches of time.

Guests will enjoy fine teas from the Puddings and Biscakes collection alongside a curated selection of historic baked sweets. Seating will be community-style to foster a convivial atmosphere.

Registration is required for this family-friendly event, as space is limited. Ages 12 and up are welcome.
